e-Beach Wagon

Mike Mogan is a well-rounded highway engineer, inventor, and entrepreneur. For over 20 years, Mike has used his engineering knowledge and methodical approach to manage large, multifaceted highway projects. He has contributed to transportation education as a board member of the American Society of Highway Engineers since 2016. Mike initiated the building of his electric beach wagon after he and his wife, and their Yorkie, experienced some difficulties carrying their gear across the sandy beach. Later, after the birth of their son, trips to the beach became more cumbersome as the weight and equipment increased. After much trial and error in prototype and design, e-Beach Wagon is now ready to assist families and beachgoers with carrying heavy gear across challenging terrain with its electric motor and low-pressure balloon wheels.
